Context is not solved. It has a roadmap to being solved.

    It is of immense frustration to me that people in the chatbot industry keep claiming they’ve solved context.

    My problem is that context is a highly complex area – it may be that those claiming they do context have a solution to part of it: eg Google claim their Google Home device does context when really there are just a few cases where when you say “it” or “he” it works out the noun/subject you mentioned earlier – but this is far from fool proof and is only one aspect of context – I call that “subject context”.

    I listed all the types of context I can currently think of, in this article.
